Renewing information technology equipment with an operating lease may be even more advantageous if the company can still count on a tool for managing assets. CSI Leasing, one of the largest independent leasing companies specializing in equipment technology, offers its customers MyCSISM, an innovative tool that allows you to manage the lifetime of the assets and the lease contracts.

With MyCSISM, the customer can see information about the assets, such as equipment configuration, location, description of the contract and future payments, among others. The system also allows customization to meet the needs of each client. All of the information can be saved in PDF or Excel format.

“This online system for asset information helps our customer keep tabs on their leased equipment and offers a search feature and sorting and management of stored data,” says Ricardo Abdalla, Trade In manager. “A key benefit of IT management is reducing the total cost of ownership of equipment (TCO).”

CSI Leasing is focused on operating leases for technology equipment, which allows customers to use assets for a period of time specified in the contract, usually 36 months. At the end of term, the equipment may be returned to the lessor, the lease may be extended, or the assets pay be purchases at market value.

“The operating lease is a business approach concerned with efficient management of the equipment lifecycle, governance and compliance with international standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley, reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), and ‘green policies’ regarding the disposal of equipment,” says Abdalla.
